Post-event items

  1. Immediately after your event, clean up: Facilities or the venue may issue fines if the space is left in poor condition. All decorations must be removed, and all rentals and equipment must be picked up—nothing may be left behind.
  2. A week after the event, debrief with organizing team: Tie up any loose ends, evaluate the event for next year's planners, discuss any lessons you learned, and reflect on your original vision and goals for the event (see Scope/Vision).
  3. Finalize your finances: Ensure you have paid all vendors, prize winners, and collected all sponsorship and ticket revenue.
  4. Thank you notes: Thank your speakers, alumni attendees, and VIPs.
  5. Collect and archive all your documents and information: Share this information to Student Life and next year's organizers.
