SLO Staffing Update

We are thrilled to share that our wonderful Student Organizations Coordinator, Elizabeth Sideri, is back from her maternity leave and ready to jump back into action! Elizabeth will be resuming her role advising student leaders on club operations, and we couldn't be more excited to have her back with us. Her dedication and expertise have always been invaluable to our community, and I know she is eager to reconnect with all of you.

We also want to take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt thank you to Delya Hasanova for stepping in and doing an exceptional job filling in for Elizabeth. Delya's hard work and commitment have been greatly appreciated by everyone, and we are truly grateful for their contributions during this period.

MBA AdMIT Day - Networking Reception with Student Club Leads

MBA Program Office and Admissions invite you help close out MBA AdMIT Day with a bang by participating in our networking reception with student club leads. This is a chance to showcase and share more information about student clubs at MIT Sloan and for you to represent yours!

You are invited to join between 4:00 and 5:00pm on Friday February 7th for hors d'oeuvres and drinks.

Due to space constraints, clubs should send no more than two members.

If your club is interested in participating, please email Hallie and Gisel and join the SloanGroups.

SLO Credit Card Limit Increase

Sloan student organizations can now request use of SLO's MIT Credit Card for organization related purchases up to $1000 (an incaarease from $500).  This increase is being made in an effort to reduce out-of-pocket expenses for student leaders.
See details on how to request use of the SLO MIT Credit Card and information on other payment methods here.

Student-Organized Travel (Treks, Retreats, etc.)

Organizing a trip with your student organization allows you to test your leadership skills, gain an in-depth look at a particular industry or geography, and build contacts and a community that will help you in the future. The following process must be followed for any student-organized travel - including treks, retreats, or visits to more than one company (even locally):
Please note that the reimbursement requests for unauthorized treks will not be approved. Visit our Trek Planning page for a detailed overview of all the policies and procedures to consider.

Leadership Transitions

The Club Renewal Deadline is March 12, 2025 (Wednesday before Spring SIP & Spring Break). To renew your club, you will need to have elected new co-presidents for 2025-2026. The leadership transition survey will be distributed at the start of the spring semester.

As you prepare to elect new club officers, please keep the following in mind:
