The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion would like to invite the student community to learn more about the Belonging Innovation and Impact Grant program (BI2G, or BIIG). The BI2G offers financial support for initiatives that strengthen the goals of MIT’s strategic plan related to belonging. To be eligible, MIT Sloan students and student organizations must:
  1. submit an application detailing their proposed initiative/learning opportunity aimed at enhancing the sense of belonging at MIT Sloan/MIT;
  2. execute and/or create the program, event, or learning experience;
  3. provide a deliverable that shares the key learnings with the MIT Sloan community.

Learn more about the program here. If you have any questions, please contact sloandei@mit.edu.

Anti-Hazing Agreement Coming Soon

Every year, student groups are required to certify to the Institute that they are compliant with Massachusetts law and MIT policy regarding hazing.

Starting next Monday, September 16, one president or co-president from your group will need to acknowlege the agreement in SloanGroups before club leaders will have access to their group in the platform. The agreement will automatically pop-up when trying to enter SloanGroups.

The deadline is Monday, September 30.
