SWIM NEWSLETTER
WEEK OF APRIL 4, 2022
DEAR [FIRST_NAME],
We have been delighted to serve as your SWIM co-presidents this past year! Through these unprecedented times, we have been able to go from virtual to in-person events, create and maintain SWIM traditions, and host the most ambitious Push4Parity week at Sloan to date! None of this would have been possible without our amazing VP team. We are so thankful to have gotten to work alongside such inspiring women. We are also grateful to have gotten to meet so many of you, SWIM members, in person through our events throughout the last year!
We are so excited to introduce the three new co-presidents taking over the reigns of SWIM's leadership: Caroline Andersson, Diya Verghese, and Roshni Amin!
We leave SWIM in their very capable hands! As we begin our transition from our leadership to theirs, we want to wish you a wonderful rest of the semester! Congratulations on having (almost!) completed the first year, if you are in a multi-year program, and congratulations to all the finishing students! Don’t hesitate to reach out if we can be of help, now, and beyond Sloan!
Warm regards,
- Sophie, Sakshi, Louisa

Making It Together is a speaker series sponsored my MIT Sloan Male Allies, Sloan Pride, and Sloan Women in Management. In each series, we interview two Sloan Alums in dual-career relationships and explore what they've learned about how dual-career couples successfully manage and balance their professional lives, personal relationships, and family aspirations.
SPEAKER: HILARY GRAM, MBA '18
Hilary is a Senior Manager II on Liberty Mutual's Corporate Strategy & Research team, which she joined in 2022 after spending 3.5 years as a management consultant at EY-Parthenon, where she led engagements for corporate and private equity clients. While at Parthenon, Hilary worked across commercial due diligence, growth strategy, and market assessment projects, primarily in the healthcare practice. Hilary received her MBA from MIT Sloan in 2018 and her BA in Economics from Wellesley College in 2010. Prior to business school, Hilary worked for Rare, an environmental conservation NGO, managing sustainable fishing and sustainable agriculture projects in Asia and Latin America. In her free time, Hilary enjoys spending time with her wife and son, being outdoors as much as possible, and frequenting the local library.
SPEAKER: RHIANNON MENN, MBA '14
Rhiannon is a mama, chef, and adventurer. She loves decaf coffee, traveling, and super fuzzy sweaters. After the birth of her second child, she had an epiphany: When she took good care of herself, she was much better at taking care of those around her. She founded Good to Mama as a way of changing the narrative about what it means to be a mom. In 2020, prompted by the COVID-related struggles of families in her community and her own feeling of helplessness, she founded Lasagna Love. A platform that connects neighbors for home-cooked meal delivery, Lasagna Love has transformed into an international movement of kindness, impacting thousands of volunteers and recipient families each week. Rhiannon is a graduate of Berkshire Community College, Brown University, and MIT Sloan, and is a StartingBloc fellow and Siebel Scholar. She lives in Kihei, HI with her husband, three children, and is still relentlessly petitioning for a cat.
