Rolling Sloans Auditions - Day 1

The Rolling Sloans are back, and we're looking for our next lineup.

As Sloan's oldest student organization, we put on the biggest cultural event on campus: a semesterly concert on the last day of class at Paradise Rock Club. Hundreds of your classmates, one real Boston stage, and a setlist built to blow the roof off! This is your chance to be a part of Sloan's largest MBA tradition.

We're a rock/pop band that plays mainstream crowd-pleasers — Green Day to Shakira, Taylor Swift to Santana — and we want 1Ys, 2Ys, and significant others to audition.

Who we're looking for:
1. All instruments: guitar, bass, keys, drums, vocals, strings, brass, woodwinds, and anything else you play
2. All experience levels: whether you've been playing for years or haven't picked up your instrument since childhood, come audition
3. Anyone who wants to share a passion or hobby with a group of musicians who love doing this

You don't need to be a professional. You just need to want to play.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

1. Do I need to be there for all 4 hours?
No, we will assign you a timed slot for your audition. There will be an optional jam session at the end of auditions, so we encourage everyone to stay for as long as they can.

2. Do I need to attend both audition days?
No, pick the one that suits your schedule best!

3. Do I need to have / bring my own instrument?
No! Gear and instruments will be provided at the audition venue, and all rehearsals and shows in the future! If you prefer to play on your own instruments, that works as well!

4. Will transportation be organised to and from the audition event?
Yes! We will be organising carpools to and from Central Square and Kendall Square on both audition days to assist with commute (just like we do every rehearsal)
