MBAn 2026 New York City Data Science Trek

YOU ARE INVITED!

We are pleased to invite the MBAn Class of 2026 to New York City for 2.5 intensive days of networking, professional development and learning about the data science industry in the Big Apple! The current planned itinerary is as follows:

Wednesday Mar 18th, 2026
8am - Buses departs from MIT Sloan, arrives in New York around 12pm
12-1pm – Arrive at Hotel, lunch provided, If your room is not ready, you can store your luggage with the hotel lobby
1pm-5pm – Companies Presentations & Meet & Greet in Hotel Rooftop Meeting Space
6-8pm – MIT-sponsored Analytics Networking Dinner (same location as hotel) – open to all MBAn Alumni

Thu, Mar 19th, 2026
8am-9am – Breakfast provided
9am-12pm – Companies Presentations & Meet & Greet in Hotel Rooftop Meeting Space, lunch provided
12pm-5pm – Company On-site Visits in New York City

Fri, Mar 20th, 2026
9am-11:30am – Company On-site Visits in New York City
Breakfast and lunch on your own
12pm – Latest Hotel check-out. You can store your luggage with the hotel lobby
12pm – Bus departs from hotel, arrives back at MIT Sloan around 4pm

Please RSVP to the New York Trek by Mon, Feb 9th by 5pm EST to secure your room and confirm your attendance. Room assignments are at the discretion of the MBAn Class Leadership Council. Please note that any extra hotel expenses from the minibar, cable TV purchases or damage in the hotel rooms will be at your own expense.
 

We will be working on the company visit schedule and will share that with you later in March, closer to our travel date.

What Should I Wear?

Please dress business casual for the Networking Dinner and all company meetings. Please NO shorts, short skirts, hats, heavy perfume / cologne, flip flops, ripped jeans. 

Please note that NO GUESTS will be allowed. If you have a significant other who would like to come to New York, they will need to arrange their own travel and lodging.
