The mission of Community Building Chairs (CBCs) is to build community through inclusive events and activities at the cohort level. As CBCs, you are the organizing force who gets everyone in your cohort involved in planning and attending cohort community building activities.

MIT MIMO works in collaboration with the Leaders for Global Operations program to help deploy the latest innovations in deep learning and machine learning into manufacturing and operations. In addition to the LGO, MIMO is also working closely with Operations Research Center, MIT Quest for Intelligence, CSAIL, and other MIT faculty in the MIT Schwarzman College of Computing.

Sloan Pre-Functions (or Pre-f(x) as we like to call them!) are non-academic trips led by 2nd-year students before classes start. It's an incredible opportunity for the incoming class of MBA students & their SOs* to get to know each other in a fun, relaxed environment. From hiking in Alaska to cooking classes in Spain, there is a little something for everyone's taste and schedule!

Mission
The MIT Sloan Senate is our school's elected student government composed of representatives from the MBA, LGO, SF, EMBA, MFin, MSMS, IDM/SDM and MBAn programs. Senators strive to improve the Sloan experience and work in areas including (but not limited to) academics, admissions, careers, clubs, diversity & inclusion, facilities & operations, and Sloan events. Senators develop leadership skills, build relationships with members of the administration and program offices, and drive real change at Sloan. Senators are expected to attend weekly Senate meetings and participate on one or more committees. If you're interested in getting involved in Senate, don't hesitate to contact us!
