AAA x Wine Club x Japan Club - Sake Tasting Night

The Sloan Wine Club, Asian American Alliance, and Japan Club invite you to a guided tasting exploring sake through a curated lineup of five distinct styles. The tasting will progress from a clean, balanced Junmai Ginjo to more aromatic and refined Daiginjo expressions, followed by a creamy unfiltered Nigori and a richer, umami-driven style. Each sake is selected to highlight a different dimension, from aroma and texture to structure and depth. Along the way, we will introduce the fundamentals of how sake is made, how to approach tasting it, and how it compares to wine. The goal is not just to taste, but to build a clear framework for understanding and enjoying sake. Whether you are new to sake or already a fan, this session is designed to be both accessible and insightful. Light snacks will be provided. Please arrive on time for the guided portion of the tasting. Note: Please RSVP based on your club affiliation (i.e., only purchase from "Wine Club Member" pool if you are a member of Wine Club!).
