A major question that gained salience during the 2016 presidential election was whether and how voters respond differently to political candidates based on their gender.  In the spring of 2017, economist Maria Guadalupe (of INSEAD) and playwright and director Joe Salvatore (of NYU Steinhardt) staged a highly innovative theatrical experiment on this question called Her Opponent, and the results surprised everyone.  Join us as we screen excerpts from the play and discuss the lessons with Maria and Joe.
