Deepthi Bathina, Founder and CEO, RhythmX AI

She has held CEO and COO positions and led global operations at multiple high growth companies where she scaled businesses across various inflection points ranging from millions to billions within start-ups and Fortune 50 companies. Deepthi Bathina is currently the founder and CEO of RhythmX AI. With $50M initial investment, RhythmX AI, based out of the silicon valley, is a generative AI-native health company driving a paradigm shift in hyper-personalized care.

Bathina is chair of the board of the Kerry Murphy Healey Center for Health Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Babson College.

She is the former chief product officer at Humana, a Fortune 50 healthcare firm, where she led product development and management of all healthcare solutions for the entire company and led customer success functions including implementations across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial segments.

Before Humana, Bathina was general manager of operations for the $1 billion Healthcare Technology Division of Nuance Communications.

She is the former head of global operations for the clinical decision support division (UpToDate) at Wolters Kluwer, leading global customer operations in 170 countries.

Ellen Herlacher, MBA '13, Partner, LRVHealth

She is a healthcare investor with a deep background in investment management, healthcare operations, and corporate strategy.

As Partner at LRVHealth, Ellen co-leads the firm’s research and investments in new care delivery, behavioral health, workforce transformation, and government sponsored payers. In this role, she led LRVHealth’s investments in Diana Health, a reimagined maternity care company, and Cortica, a physician-led, whole-child, value-based autism services company. She also supports the firm’s investments in Reimagine Care, Huddle Up, Greater Good Health, and Season. Before joining LRVHealth in 2020, Ellen was director of Tufts Health Ventures, the corporate development and corporate investment arm of Tufts Health Plan (now Point32 Health). Prior to joining Tufts, she held management roles at athenahealth and investment and consulting roles at Goldman Sachs and Bain & Company.

Ellen earned a B.A. from Cornell University and M.B.A. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Vijay J. Patel, MBA '12, Managing Partner, CVS Health Ventures

He is the Vice President and Managing Partner of CVS Health Ventures. Vijay leads CVS Health’s venture investment program, which encompasses limited partner investments, a dedicated corporate venture fund, minority growth equity strategy and a market development function that partners with high-potential, early-stage companies.

Prior to his current role, Vijay led the Enterprise Business Development team and was a member of the CVS Health COVID-19 Task Force responsible for structuring partnerships to support testing and vaccination efforts. He joined the company’s Boston Digital Innovation Lab in 2015, where he led our efforts to develop strategic partnerships with investments in digital health and technology companies. Vijay also founded the CVS Digital Leadership Program to attract and retain early career talent.

Prior to joining CVS Health, Vijay worked as an investment professional at H.I.G. Growth Partners and Bain Capital.

Vijay earned a bachelor’s degree from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

As a Venture Partner at Nina Capital, a global healthtech venture fund, she supports early-stage startups that are developing cutting-edge solutions in digital health, medtech, biotech, and wellness. She is also an advisor to global Private Equity Investors in healthcare/technology.

Eric Berger is a member of Bain’s Healthcare & Life Sciences and Private Equity practices with more than 10 years of consulting experience.

He holds expertise in topics related to commercial due diligence, business unit strategy, operating model, organization design, pricing, brand strategy and mergers & acquisitions.

Anne Quaadgras is the Director of the MIT Sloan Health Systems Initiative and a Senior Lecturer at  MIT Sloan.

Her work focuses on health systems transformation, and the role of information technology in supporting that change.


Prior to her doctoral work, Anne was a management consultant for fifteen years, specializing in improving decision-making and investment processes in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and financial services industries.

She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in chemical engineering from MIT. Anne earned her doctorate in information systems at Boston University, where her dissertation research explored how globally distributed groups of experts recognize and respond to operational problems.
