MIT Bike Lab
The MIT Bike Lab is a student-run bike shop that provides services to the MIT community. Students volunteer as mechanics to assist others with bike repair and maintenance. All members of the community are welcome, and access to tools and advice is completely free of charge. The shop has most necessary tools and parts to complete most basic repairs. AAPI Heritage Month: PEPO's Inaugural Spotlight Festival

Panethnic Pourovers' inaugural AAPI Heritage Month Spotlight features AAPI + BIPOC small businesses, creators, artists, and organizations. Free coffee, handmade goods, jewelry, art, and more!
Movie Night at the Plaza: Spirited Away Friday, May 23rd 6pm-10pm SBWTC Plaza
Outdoor movie night. Featuring Spirited Away (PG). Free popcorn will be provided, while supplies last. Please note that seating is available on a first come, first served basis; feel free to bring along a blanket or chair.
PLAY Opening Day Tuesday, June 3rd
4pm-7pm Kendall/MIT Open Space
Get outside and play! Bananagrams, Connect Four, Hopscotch, Scrabble, Corn Hole, and more. Choose from a fun and varied selection of board games and lawn games, all free to borrow during your visit. Plenty of options available for adults, kids, small groups and pairs.
Memorial Day Garden of Flags
Wednesday, May 21st - Monday, May 26th Soldiers and Sailors Monument, Boston Common
Each of the 37,000+ American flags planted at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument this Memorial Day will represent every brave Massachusetts service member who gave his or her life defending our country since the Revolutionary War.
From May 28th - August 20th, the Student Life Newsletter will be operating on a bi-weekly schedule before resuming a weekly schedule for the fall semester. Holiday Closure - Monday, May 26
MIT and the Student Life Office will be closed on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day.
E14 VC Fellows Program
E14 Fund is an MIT-affiliated VC that invests in deep technology companies across AI, industrial automation, climate technology, healthcare, and more.
The E14 VC Fellows Program offers MIT students and postdocs a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in venture capital. As a Fellow, you will work closely with the E14 Fund team to source startups, evaluate new technologies, support portfolio companies, and help build the next generation of deep tech ventures.
This is a part-time program designed to fit around your academic commitments, running from September through May during the school year. We welcome curious, entrepreneurial individuals from across MIT — no prior venture capital experience is required.
The 2025 celebrations will take place from Wednesday, May 28, to Friday, May 30. Degree candidates are eligible to attend the OneMIT Commencement Ceremony AND their respective degree ceremonies.
