MIT ESOL Program
Looking for an opportunity to make a real and positive difference in someone's life? Fill out the MIT English for Speakers of Other Languages program (ESOL) volunteer sign-up form!
The MIT ESOL Program for Service Employees is looking for volunteers to tutor custodial and grounds employees for one hour per week (or to substitute). The program has a significant positive impact on the lives of many employees working within MIT buildings and residence halls who are non-native English speakers and who are interested in improving their English skills.
No experience is required, just a good command of English and an interest in helping individuals whose first language is not English.
Volunteers have access to ESOL/ESL resources and lesson plans and a helpful online community. Tutoring takes place on campus or on Zoom at various times during the day -- a one-hour commitment anywhere between 10am and midnight. We will work with your schedule.
All submissions should be directed to this survey which automatically submits your submission for review for the MFin, Student Life, SES, EMBA and SFMBA departments.
