Food Resources 

  • Late Night Dining: Hungry? Need food? Late night dining is available in Maseeh Hall and Simmons Hall on main campus through 1am from Sunday through Thursday during each semester. 
  • MIT offers resources to individual graduate students and graduate student couples and families centered around making food more accessible and affordable. To request graduate student food resources, please fill out the request form.

  • SwipeShareThe SwipeShare program allows anyone with a meal plan to donate meals to help students in need
  • Food Guides & MapsCheck out these great guides to food at MIT for undergraduate and graduate students. Use the MIT Food Map, now including the Healthy Fresh vending machines, to explore locations close to campus where you can access food and groceries easily.

Congrats to SLO's First Community Impact Spotlight: Nimita Dave

Nimita Dave (EMBA 2025) is commended for fostering community by organizing social events and study sessions that bring EMBA students together. Her care and dedication bridge knowledge gaps, creating a supportive learning environment and meaningful connections. Her energy and enthusiasm foster intimacy, and trust, positively impacting camaraderie and learning at Sloan. The Student Life Office wants to recognize Nimita for her outstanding commitment to nurturing a supportive and cohesive Sloan community!

Every month, the Student Life Office wants to shine a spotlight on your fellow Sloanies whose contributions are making a positive impact to the greater MIT Sloan community. Nominate another student, student organization, or organization event as a highlight of your month. Submit your nominations and let us know why they had a positive impact on you here. Nominations for this cycle are due on December 1st. Community Impact Spotlights will each receive $50 in TechCash, and all nominators will be entered into a lottery for a chance to win!

Technology Feedback
Do you have constructive feedback to share about your student experience as it pertains to systems, processes, and operations? Would you like to help Sloan shape the future digital experience for students? Do you have 20 minutes to spare on Monday, December 11 between 10:30 – 12:00? We are looking for thoughtful individuals from the MBA/LGO, SFMBA, EMBA, MBAn, MFin, and PhD programs to join us for a conversation about your experiences. Do you want to be a better leader? (IAP 2024)

15.339 Developing Leadership Capabilities: 6-unit (P/F) graduate-level IAP course that meets the Sloan leadership requirement. Build key leadership skills around sensemaking, relating, visioning, and inventing. Understand your strengths, weaknesses, values, and aspirations as a leader. Engage in conceptual discussions, small group exercises, and self-reflection. Taught by Prof. Thomas Malone (Director, MIT Center for Collective Intelligence) and Prof. Wanda Orlikowski (Professor, Information Technology and Work & Organization Studies). MIT-Africa Seed Fund Deadline

The MIT-Africa Seed Fund supports innovative projects that will help to lay the foundations for new research and education initiatives between MIT and African collaborators. This fund is offered annually by the Office of the Associate Provost for International Activities in association with the MIT-Africa Distinguished Visitors Program. Applications are due December 12th.
