Thanks to the 35 students that attended Tuesday's Speaker Series featuring Joe Kasputys, Founder of Global Insights/IHS Economics & Country Risk. He led an interesting lunch discussion on the infrastructure investments for the Panama Canal as well as provided his take on global economic indicators. Slides are forthcoming.
This Friday, February 24, we are honored to host Nobel Laureate Professor Oliver Hart to discuss contracts theory on public-private partnerships. As you may know, Professor Hart won the Nobel Prize in Economics in conjunction with MIT Professor Bengt Holmström in 2016.
Finally, we are excited to extend our sincere thanks to the 120 members of the Infrastructure & Project Finance Club! You've catapulted us into the top 10% of student clubs at MIT Sloan, based on membership.
We look forward to meeting each and every one of you at an upcoming event.
Best Regards from your ÔÇïCo-Presidents,
Krishna Murthy, Sloan Fellow 2017
