Know Your Resource: Mental Health Resources 

Community WellnessCommunity Wellness at MIT Medical provides health and wellness tools to thrive at MIT. Check out their December session of wellness classes starting December 1. All classes are open to the entire MIT community and are presented over Zoom. The benefits of exercise go beyond strong bones and muscles. Exercise can also increase your energy, boost your mood, and lower your stress. Did you know Community Wellness also has a collection of sleep resources, including a Sleep and Relaxation Line? Did you miss Student Life's Wellness Week events? Community Wellness also offers acupuncture appointments!

Student Mental Health & Counseling Services: Schedule an appointment with a clinician here. Calling during business hours 617-293-2916 is always the best and fastest way to get assistance.

Monday, December 12th

Attendees will be placed into small randomized groups that will go for dinner at a local Boston restaurant or a Sloanies home. The SEC will be providing funding to offset the costs of each dinner and the night will conclude with Karaoke and dancing at Hong Kong Restaurant in Harvard Square.

Lunch and learn with Elyse Neumeier, MIT Sloan MBA to hear about her career journey, gain advice, and ask questions. Elyse leads the People Strategy and Operations and B2B Sales teams at Cometeer.

Kendall Square Winter Market 2022

Embrace the winter season on December 3rd and 4th at a boutique market featuring local brands, artists and artisanal food makers at Canal District Kendall. Open each day from 11am-4pm, Winter Market attendees will enjoy live music, participating in crafts for all ages guided by Albertine Press, and seasonal delights including a festival of holiday trees and ice sculptures. Skate@Canal District Kendall, the ice skating rink, will also open for the season on December 3rd (weather permitting), drawing hundreds of locals to this popular annual CDK tradition.
