COMMUNITY IMPACT AWARDS (CIA) — VOTE NOW
Calling all Sloanies! It's time to vote for the 2nd annual Community Impact Awards (CIA!), sponsored by the Student Life Office. Categories include: Best Swag, Most Welcoming Leadership Team, Most Collaborative Club, Best Trek, Best Co-President Team, and Best Guest Speaker/Speaker Series.
Winners will get to bring home a golden beaver award at our annual Community Impact Celebration to celebrate ALL club and conference leaders on Monday, April 28th. Voting is open now UNTIL Wednesday, April 23rd.

Come join AAA, Taiwanese Club, Japan Club, Korea Club, Greater China Club, South Asia Business Club, Southeast Asia Society, and Asia Business Club for an amazing night to celebrate Asian and Asian American culture! We will have food and decorations from all across Asia, as well as performances from some of your favorite fellow classmates. Tickets: $20+
Rolling Sloans – Spring 2025 Concert Wednesday, May 7th
Doors open at 8pm Paradise Rock Club
Come watch all your favorite Sloanies and SOs perform live on stage at the legendary Paradise Rock Club, which has been home to incredible acts such as U2, Radiohead, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, DMB, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, RHCP, The Killers, Snoop Dogg, and many more. Needless to say, this is going to be our biggest Rolling Sloans concert EVER! This is sure to be the premiere event of the semester -- you do not want to miss out. Tickets: $20 each

Join the Sloan's Asian American Alliance for a panel discussion that explores the complex intersection of national security, identity, and patriotism in the context of U.S.- China relations. This timely conversation ahead of the Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) heritage month and a proposed reinstatement of the CCP initiative (H.R.1398) will explore how Chinese Americans have often been scrutinized under the guise of national security.

During a Let’s Chat consultation, a SMHCS counselor can listen to specific problems, help you explore solutions, and introduce you to what it’s like to speak with a member of our staff. 2025 MIT Sloan Excellence in Teaching Awards - Nominations Live!
MIT Sloan students from all degree programs: We invite you to acknowledge the Sloan faculty members and teaching assistants who have made a positive difference in your classroom experience this academic year. Anyone who taught a Sloan (15.XXX) course or recitation in Summer 2024, Fall 2024, January 2025, or Spring 2025 is eligible to be nominated for an MIT Sloan Excellence in Teaching Award. The nomination requires only a paragraph or two on why you are nominating a particular person (or persons—there is no limit to how many people you can nominate). Winners will be chosen based on both quantity and quality of the nominations. The award recipients will be honored at the Excellence in Teaching Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, May 7th from 11:30 am-1:00 pm at the Samberg Conference Center (Building E52). Please help us celebrate the faculty members and teaching assistants who form the backbone of Sloan's academic community! The nomination survey is open until April 21st.
