Black History Month Events @MIT
February is Black History Month, a time to celebrate and honor the history and contributions of Black communities and individuals across the diaspora from the past and present.
The Sloan Healthcare Innovations Prize (SHIP) is a pitch competition open to entrepreneurs innovating in the healthcare space. The mission of SHIP is to support early stage healthcare startups by providing feedback from, and opportunity to network with, experienced industry professionals. Past winners include Calla Health Foundation (2020), Kano Therapeutics (2021), SanaHealth (2022), Zeph (2023), and Third Coast Dynamics (2024). On February 27, finalists will showcase their groundbreaking ideas to a panel of esteemed judges to win prizes up to $30,000!
