CLUBFEST SIGN-UP Deadline August 28th!

When: Thursday, September 4th, 7PM-9PM
Where: Walker Memorial
Sign-Up: Here by 11:59PM on August 28th to reserve your club's table at the event!

Please take note of the following:

  1. This event is designed to showcase Sloan-recognized clubs and conferences only.
  2. Each club that signs up by the deadline will be assigned a table number. 
    • Clubs who do not sign up in time will not have an assigned table or be listed on the event map. 
  3. Two clubs will be at each table - clubs each will have half (3ft) of a 6ft table to display items. 
  4. Tables will have linens and each club's space will be labeled with a tent card.
  5. Power is not available for use and extension cords are not permitted.
  6. Please do not hang anything on the walls.

Conference, Hackathon, & Case Competition Planning Fall Kick-Off Session

Attend this session if you are planning a Sloan student-led conference, hackathon, or case competition.  We will discuss ideal planning timelines, planning tools available to you, sponsorship process, speaker best practices, leading a team, and more.

Fundraising Workshop Series
Calling all Conference Leads and Clubs Looking to Raise Sponsorship!

SLO has organized a 3-part workshop series to support your planning and executing successful conferences and reaching your organizational goals.

Whether you're new to organizing or looking to enhance your skills, you'll gain insights into key trends, inclusive planning strategies, and essential fundraising techniques.  By participating, you will

  • Understand what motivates sponsors and how those motivations are evolving.
  • Learn the core principles of inclusive, effective conference planning.
  • Practice concise, compelling communication for fundraising and beyond.
  • Explore ways to build lasting relationships with philanthropists and sponsors.
Workshop Topics:
  • Session 1: Donor Identification & Less Stress Solicitation Structures - Friday, September 12, 10am-12pm (In-person)
  • Session 2: Standardized, ROI Focused Materials & Close On Sponsorships - Friday September 26, 10am-12pm (In-person)
  • Session 3: Review Fundraising Scenarios & Get Your Relevant Questions Answered - Thursday, October 9, 11:45am-12:45pm (Virtual)

Make-Up Club Leader Training Sessions

If your club missed the spring club leader trainings, be sure to send at least one officer to the two sessions below.  Attendance is required to be eligible for senate club funding this academic year.

Join us for an engaging session designed to help you thrive at Sloan and beyond—building the skills and mindset to lead effectively in any organization or company you join.
We’ll explore how the Sloan experience connects to MIT’s mission, your role as an active partner in our community, and how to foster an environment where teams can excel. These are the same principles that drive successful, healthy workplaces around the world.
You’ll gain:
  • A deeper understanding of MIT’s values—excellence, curiosity, openness, respect, belonging, and community—and how they translate to organizational culture.
  • Practical strategies for conflict resolution and addressing harmful situations in both academic and professional settings.
  • Tools to strengthen collaboration, trust, and inclusion in teams.
