MIT lifts remaining Covid policies
Effective May 11, as federal and Massachusetts Covid-19 public health emergencies end, MIT will discontinue its remaining Covid policies. This means that MIT will no longer require Covid vaccinations for students or employees, discontinue its campus-wide PCR testing program, and lift the requirement that community members use Atlas to report testing positive for Covid. Leading up to her May 1 inauguration, President Sally Kornbluth has launched a new podcast series, Curiosity Unbounded. In these podcasts, she speaks with newly tenured faculty members about their research, as well as what inspires them in their work. In the opening episode of the series, President Kornbluth sat down with Desirée Plata, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering.

Passio GO
On April 24th, the MIT Parking & Transportation Office will be launching Passio GO, a new shuttle tracking program, to replace the NextBus app for MIT campus shuttles, including the Tech Shuttle, Boston Daytime, Saferide, and grocery shuttles. Passio Go provides enhanced functionality that will improve real time shuttle tracking information for routes.
Passio GO will work very similarly to NextBus. Realtime shuttle routes and schedules can be accessed 3 different ways:
Download the MIT Mobile app on your mobile device and choose Shuttles from the menu.
Download the Passio GO app on your mobile device and choose MIT as the agency.
Please note that the EZ Ride shuttle will continue to use NextBus for tracking. All shuttle services can be viewed on the MIT Mobile App or m.mit.edu, which draw data from both systems.

Dean on Call: Students living on campus can dial 100 from campus phones or 617-253-1212 to reach MIT Police, then ask to speak to the dean on call. The dean on call is available Monday through Friday, 5 p.m.–9 a.m., and on Saturdays, Sundays and MIT-observed holidays.
