Club Announcements
1. Club Meeting on Monday, 11/26
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We will be meeting in the usual spot E62-250 from 6:00-7:30pm ET on Monday. Telis will resume his series of discussion-based lectures on the tools required for investment management recruiting.

2. Stock Pitch Practice
If you are currently signed-up to participate in any one of the upcoming stock pitch competitions, you should consider reaching out to Dan, Hish, or Telis to fine tine your ideas and presentations. It doesn't hurt to get a second look.

1. Global Stock Pitch Competition

I am Luka Sterling from the investment research platform, Investments Revolution. Investments Revolution is a platform for actionable crowd-sourced investment research.

Given your position at MIT Sloan School of Management, I would like to notify you of a global stock pitch competition we are running currently until the 19th of December. We would welcome you sharing the competition with your students. 2. Bain & Co. Private Equity Practice - Lunch Meeting, 11/29
Hugh MacArthur SM ‘93, Founder and Head of Bain’s Private Equity practice, will be coming to campus next Thursday for a PEG Industry Presentation. This is a great opportunity to hear Hugh share Bain’s insights on the PE industry and the results we deliver on the work we do. A Q&A session will follow.

3. Harvard Case Competition - February 8th, 2019

Greetings. I hope the present email finds you well. I am contacting you in order to invite your club to participate in the Global Case Competition at Harvard, one of the world's largest finance case competitions organized by the Harvard College European Business Group (EBG) and the IFSA Network.

The case will be released to participating teams on February 8th and competitors will have until March 1st to solve it. Cases will be graded based on the accuracy of quantitative results. The top 10 teams will be given the opportunity to make a short case presentation to a panel at our final event, on April 26th in Harvard Yard. The panel consists of esteemed professors and distinguished industry professionals.

The focus of the case will be M&A, Private Equity, and Investing Banking.

The "Featured Company" Coaching Session is on July 10th from 1:00pm - 5:30pm which is a more intimate gathering of VCs and entrepreneurs and will feature seven VCs on a panel discussion followed by presentations from some of the featured companies with the VCs providing feedback. The session will then be followed by a cocktail reception which you are welcome to join us for.

The full day Venture Summit will be on the 12th.

Students are able to gain free admission and in turn help out for part of the day and enjoy the summit for the other part. Volunteers assist with setup, registration, program coordination, company presentations etc. 

The volunteer time slots are:

6:30am - 5:30pm
