Announcing Sloan Wellness Week!

Join us for Sloan Wellness Week! The Student Life office is excited to announce Sloan Wellness Week, taking place from November 4th to 7th. This week is dedicated to promoting health and well-being within our community. We've planned a variety of events designed to help you relax, rejuvenate, and discover new ways to incorporate wellness into your daily routine.

Event Highlights:

  • Journal Give Away: Start your wellness journey with a free journal.
  • Chair Massages: Enjoy a relaxing chair massage to ease your stress.
  • Acupuncture Appointments: Experience the benefits of acupuncture.
  • Sound Healing: Immerse yourself in a soothing sound bathing session.
  • Wellbeing Lab Pop-Up Event: Discover new ways to enhance your well-being at MIT! Featuring: Activities, give aways, resources, snacks, and more!
  • Mental Health AMA: Join your peers as Sloanies get real about Mental Health while at Sloan. 
  • Plant & Succulent Give Away: Take home a plant or succulent to brighten your space.

We are proud to collaborate with MIT DoingWell, the MIT Wellbeing Lab, the MIT Sloan Mindfulness & Leadership Club, and the MIT Food and Agriculture Club to bring you these fantastic events.

Boston Celtics
The Student Life Office has an extremely limited number of tickets for three Celtics Games in Fall 2024, at TD Garden:

  • Boston Celtics vs. Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, November 12th 
  • Boston Celtics vs. LA Clippers on Monday, November 25th 
  • Boston Celtics vs. Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, December 4th

Gratitude Letter Writing Event

Express your appreciation for someone by writing a handwritten gratitude letter! Join the Ashdown House on Sunday, October 27th from 1 - 3 PM in the Ashdown House Hulsizer (NW35-1121) for gratitude letter writing.

Letter-making supplies will be available including paper, envelopes and stickers. Letters will be sent out after the event- we will cover postage. *Lunch and bubble tea* will be available!
