VPR is MIT’s primary on-campus resource for preventing and responding to interpersonal violence including sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, stalking, and sexual harassment. The hotline (617-253-2300) is available 24 hours a day to support survivors in deciding what to do next.

Grad Gala on April 15, 2023
(This is NOT the Sloan GALA in Newport, RI sponsored by SEC and SLO)

Get ready for an evening of elegance, excitement, and science! The MIT Graduate Council cordially invites you to attend their exclusive Grad Gala at the Museum of Science on Saturday, April 15th, featuring a one-of-a-kind man-made lightning show.

This electrifying event will showcase the power and beauty of live lightning, created by the Museum of Science expert technicians. Watch in awe as bolts of lightning dance across the stage, illuminating the room with their raw power. Sign up at the link below (optional) for a chance to star in the live lightning demo! But that's not all - enjoy a night of fine dining, live DJ, dancing, and the company of like-minded individuals. This gala is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our graduate students and make unforgettable memories.

Please note that this event is only open to MIT graduate students and their guests who are at least 21 years old. And, to enhance the experience, we highly recommend that you come dressed in formal attire.

And now for the exciting part - ticket access to this event will be through a two-round lottery system! Dinner and beverages are included in the ticket price.Tickets are lottery-based with two rounds of entries for your chance to attend:
