Know Your Resource:
MIT Open Space Programming

The Kendall/MIT Open Space is a green, outdoor community space, free and open to all. They offer inclusive and eclectic programs, created in collaboration with their friends and neighbors in the Cambridge, Kendall Square, and MIT communities. The space features an outdoor movie area, a small stage, lots of benches, shade in the summertime, and moveable tables and chairs.

It' Spring at MIT! MIT Open Space Programming has a lot of exciting, outdoor events planned for April, including a Spirited Away Movie Night, Midday Music: Brazilian Percussion, Food Truck Wednesdays, a Kendall After Party, and more! Learn more here and follow them on Instagram.

The MIT Office of Sustainability is seeking applicants for a 10-week, student researcher summer cohort program. They have 6, hourly paid positions for graduate and undergraduate students. This is an opportunity to dive into hands-on projects aimed at advancing sustainability initiatives across the MIT campus.

2024 MIT Sloan Excellence in Teaching Awards Nominations Go Live April 1st
 
Sloanies, we invite you to acknowledge the faculty members and teaching assistants who have made a positive difference in your classroom experience by nominating them for an MIT Sloan Excellence in Teaching Award. The nomination requires only a paragraph or two on why you are nominating a particular person (or persons—there is no limit to how many people you can nominate). Winners will be chosen based on both quantity and quality of the nominations. Please help us celebrate the faculty members and teaching assistants who form the backbone of Sloan's academic community! Nominations will be open Monday, April 1st through 9:00 am, Friday April 19th.
