The Writing and Communication Center offers free one-on-one in-person and remote consultations as well as workshops featuring professional advice from communication experts with advanced degrees and publishing experience. Weekly MIT Spouses & Partners Connect Meetings

Weekly meetings organized by MIT Spouses & Partners Connect staff and volunteers for the spouses and partners of MIT students, scholars, staff, and faculty. Each meeting revolves around a specific topic or activity. They invite speakers from campus, the community or our group to share their expertise. Babies and children are also welcome! Please be sure to bring a toy or activity that your child will enjoy.

Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Week isMarch 13-17, 2023
RAK Week is an opportunity for our entire campus community to come together through spontaneous acts of generosity (called "RAK Hacks") and loosely planned events. It is a chance to intentionally practice kindness during the week and inspire kindness all year round. We invite you to join us and Spread the Heart across MIT!

Serving on committees
Student Directors receive a stipend for attending a minimum number of regularly scheduled board meetings. Harvard and MIT degree candidates eligible to apply. You must be enrolled at the time of application as well as through the following academic year.
Dean on Call: Students living on campus can dial 100 from campus phones or 617-253-1212 to reach MIT Police, then ask to speak to the dean on call. The dean on call is available Monday through Friday, 5 p.m.–9 a.m., and on Saturdays, Sundays and MIT-observed holidays.
