Edward (Ted) M. Maloney is chief executive officer at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). He sets the strategic priorities for MFS, leading a team responsible for the investment, distribution, finance, human resources, legal and technology functions at the firm. He is also a member of the firm's Enterprise Leadership Team. Ted was named CEO of MFS in January 2025. He joined the firm in 2005 and was named director of US research in 2011. He was named portfolio manager in 2012, assumed the global director of research position in 2016 and became CIO in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, he was an analyst and founding partner at Lyceum Capital. He also spent two years as a research associate for Fidelity Management & Research Company. Ted earned his bachelor's degree from Bowdoin College, graduating magna cum laude.
