The Engine's awesome CEO and Managing Partner Katie Rae will be at Sloan to discuss everything from what the Engine does and does not, and how you can get involved - either as a startup co-founder, a wannabe startup early employee or even as a VC! Don't miss this one - it's your chance to ask questions and get to know Katie in a more intimate setting!

Katie Rae has had an amazing career in entrepreneurship and investing. From 2010 to 2014, Rae served as managing director of Techstars Boston. While there, Rae raised and managed two funds to support more than 70 startups that have gone on to raise more than $400 million total. She also hired and managed a team of mentors, and helped better connect Techstars with universities, industry, and other accelerators. In 2013, Fast Company named Rae one of the most creative people in business for her work in turning Techstars "into a thriving innovation hub." Rae still serves as chair for the accelerator, providing guidance to current leadership. Katie has also co-founded a VC firm, Project 11 Ventures, and has worked in Microsoft and a range of other cool companies.
