The mission of the MIT VCPE Club is to provide its members with access to events resources in order to: Inform them about the venture capital and private equity industry Assist them in evaluating entering a career in venture capital or private equity Build connections within the venture capital and private equity communities Provide exposure to information on venture capital and private equity that is not easily accessible to the public Build a reputation for MIT in the VC and PE community, Host conferences to strengthen the relationships between venture capital and private equity firms, the club, and the school
