Join the MIT Sloan Sustainability Initiative in partnership with the MIT Sloan Energy & Climate Club for an engaging panel discussion featuring three MIT founders who are making waves in the renewable energy space. This event will explore the entrepreneurial journeys of these innovators, the challenges they’ve faced in scaling clean energy solutions, and their visions for a more sustainable future. Whether you’re passionate about clean tech, entrepreneurship, or climate action, this panel will offer valuable insights into the rapidly evolving world of renewable energy startups.

Panelists include:
Jane Chen, co-founder of Stepwise Electric: https://www.linkedin.com/in/janechen3/ Stepwise enables homes to electrify efficiently and affordably, providing innovative solutions that help homeowners transition from fossil fuels to electric power without the need for costly electric infrastructure upgrades. We are building a suite of distributed devices that manages energy from the grid to the 3 biggest power users in the home -- the EV charger, electric HVAC, and electric water heating.

Kevin Berkemeyer, co-founder of Station A: https://www.linkedin.com/in/kevjberk/. Station A is reimagining how clean energy is bought and sold. Combining proprietary technology and expert insights, Station A helps commercial real estate owners and occupants achieve climate goals quickly and cost-effectively. Their AI-powered platform analyzes and grades buildings to identify the best candidates for clean energy solutions, while the provider network offers indicative pricing or firm proposals through a streamlined process

Karim Khalil, PhD, co-founder and CTO of Infinite Cooling: https://www.linkedin.com/in/karim-khalil-phd-0a403152/ Infinite Cooling is an award-winning startup with a mission to develop the cooling tower of the future. Using patented technologies developed at MIT, Infinite Cooling helps industrial plants increase efficiency and sustainability by optimizing thermal performance and eliminating cooling tower plumes. Their cutting-edge solutions use remote sensing and AI to decrease water and energy consumption, while improving reliability through efficient plume abatement.
Food Provided (Food Provided (Vegetarian / plant-based lunch options will be provided to in-person attendees. Please note any food allergies and be sure to cancel registration if you can no longer attend (let's do our bit to reduce food waste!).)
