Climate change threatens all of us. But those living with a disability (nearly 20% of the global population) are the most vulnerable and often most overlooked population when it comes to addressing the effects of climate change. Join the Sustainability Initiative for a conversation with Kam Redlawsk, a multi-award winning disabled Industrial Designer and (rare disease and disability) advocate, about the importance of disability inclusive climate justice and how to create meaningful impact that addresses the complex needs of people with disabilities.

Kam Redlawsk is a multi-award winning disabled Industrial Designer, artist, (rare disease and disability) advocate, traveler, writer, consultant and speaker. She's also a Korean American adoptee. As an advocate, Kam has been a voice for the rare disease and the disabled community for over 15 years: using art, writing, travels and tools that connect us as humans. Through writing, art, travels and design, Kam attempts to give an honest portrayal of her everyday triumphs, struggles, and her journey; from the funny, the good, the bad, the migration of her weakness, to being a designer, a constantly forming perspective and a spirit that only grows in spite her deteriorating body.
Food Provided (Vegetarian food options will be provided for those attending in person.)
