Join the MIT Sloan Sustainability Initiative for a conversation with Amy Gobel, MIT alumna and co-founder of the Alliance for Responsible Capitalism, about the critical role of corporate political activity in sustainability strategy. Gain insight into the difficult trade-offs companies must make and explore how you can drive more responsible policy engagement.

Amy Gobel, MIT MBA / MS / Sustainability Certificate '17 spent her career in search of the biggest lever to mitigate climate change. Through her experience as a sustainability advocate in supply chain, she discovered the importance of the policy landscape in influencing company priorities -- and in turn, the significant role that companies play in shaping that landscape. She co-founded the Alliance for Responsible Capitalism with fellow alum Russ Forthuber to engage other forward-looking professionals in aligning corporate political influence with sound climate policy.
