You Belong at MIT

The Office of Graduate Education, GradDiversity, and MIT Sloan Student Life invite you to join us in welcoming our new and returning graduate students during the annual You Belong at MIT event on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Schwarzman Conference Center, 8th Floor (MIT Building 45).

This event serves as an opportunity to build upon and strengthen our graduate students, staff, and faculty communities, while welcoming new students to MIT. At MIT everyone belongs, and most importantly YOU belong here! We hope to see you there!

The You Belong at MIT event is people-of-color centered, queer and trans-affirming, and welcoming to those of all abilities and bodies and seeks to establish personal connections amongst our students, staff, and faculty at MIT. All are welcomed regardless of whether you identify or ally!

Join us for networking, “a taste of Boston”, and giveaways, as we build community, share resources, and connect with our graduate student organizations. Space is limited. Please register to join us by Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
