Event Details
This workshop, led by Daena Giardella, demonstrates a powerful approach to addressing acts of everyday bigotry. Her team will enact a series of scenarios which demonstrate unconscious or overt bias, and the audience will be invited to help the protagonists constructively "Speak Up."

We will start the session promptly at 11:35 and run until 1:25. Bag lunches will be offered to pre-registrants at the beginning and end of our session. There will be a brief intermission at 12:50 for those who have 1 pm commitments. Please come for as much of this session as your schedule will allow.

Senior Lecturer
Daena Giardella is a leadership and communication consultant and executive coach. Blending her dual careers in the performing arts and in business organizational development for thirty years, she designs educational programs targeting influence, adaptability, collaboration, and presence for numerous organizations, companies, and academic institutions in the USA and abroad. Daena teaches Improvisational Leadership at MIT Sloan School of Management. Daena’s original one-woman theater performances have garnered wide critical acclaim and she co-authored the book Changing Patterns.
