Sun Altbach (Biopharmaceutical Executive and Entrepreneur): Sun is a biopharmaceutical executive and an entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience. She helped develop the Medical Affairs function at Biogen, a pioneering company with innovative therapies for neurological and neurodegenerative diseases and a $24 billion market cap. At Genzyme (acquired by Sanofi for $20 billion), Sun spearheaded the transplant and oncology business units’ portfolio from research through commercialization. She headed Research and Nonclinical Operations at Shire (acquired by Takeda for $62 billion) where she oversaw the research portfolio. As founding CEO, she led PIC Therapeutics, a biotechnology company developing a new generation of therapeutics based on the modulation of RNA translation. In addition to her role at BOLD Longevity Growth, Sun is an Advisory Board member at the Termeer Institute, a Biotechnology Advisory Board member at Franklin Cummings Tech, and a member of the Women in Bio association. Sun holds a BA from Smith College and an MBA from MIT Sloan.
Andreina (Andre) Toro (Portrait Photographer and Entrepreneur)
“Andre” Toro is a portrait photographer and entrepreneur based in the United States. After earning a degree in electrical engineering in Venezuela and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, she worked in the tech industry with companies including Microsoft and Wayfair before transitioning into photography full-time. Driven by a passion for human connection and storytelling, Andre specializes in fine-art-inspired family, newborn, maternity, and birth photography, serving clients in the Greater Boston area. Her work has been recognized in the photography community, and she is known for creating emotive, meaningful portraits that capture the essence of family life.
Marina Giliver (Director of Business Capabilities and Payments at Capital One)
Marina is a senior technology leader and Director of Business Capabilities and Payments at Capital One in Greater Boston, where she leads teams building risk-focused software and technology solutions within the bank’s technology organization. She has over 20 years of experience in engineering leadership across financial services and tech, previously holding roles at firms including Thomson Financial, Computershare, Genscape, and Linedata. Marina holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, and she advocates for diversity and leadership development in tech
