About Us
The MIT Sloan Stock Pitch Competition convenes top graduate students from the nation's leading universities for a single day of rigorous investment competition, hosted at MIT Sloan in Cambridge. Competing teams research and develop an equity investment thesis, present it to a panel of judges drawn from across the investment industry, and defend their analysis in a question-and-answer session with the panel. Most competitors are MBA candidates or students in specialized master's programs such as the Master of Finance, though we welcome participants from a range of academic backgrounds. Building on the competition's strong national standing, this year we are also extending invitations to a select group of leading international programs for the first time.
This year's edition will be held on November 13, 2026, with full details to be announced at the beginning of the fall semester. If you represent a university interested in fielding a team, or a firm interested in sponsorship or judging opportunities, we would be glad to hear from you.
