Families with Children

Day Care: Quality daycare may cost more than you are used to. Monthly full-time childcare for a toddler starts at about $1,000. Care for infants is slightly more expensive and most centers take on a limited number of infants. The Technology Childcare Centers (TCC) at MIT have four childcare locations on campus:

• Eastgate, next to MIT Sloan
• Westgate, a 20 minute walk from MIT Sloan
• Stata Center, a 10 minute walk from MIT Sloan
• David H. Koch Center, a 20 minute walk from MIT Sloan
• Spaces in TCC are in high demand. You are encourgaed to submit an application for your child well in advance of your need.
