SECC is planning a visit to Allium Engineering's manufacturing facility in 19 Sterling Rd Unit 2, N Billerica MA, 01862.

Allium Engineering is a US-based startup founded by two MIT Ph.D graduates that designs and manufactures coated rebar technology that will create a more resilient, affordable, and sustainable infrastructure. Allium's game-changing rebar technology eliminates steel corrosion, is cost effective, and leads to lower carbon emissions.

Details of the visit are:
- Date: Friday, April 18th, 2025
- Time: 11:00 to 12:00 hours
- Site is ~1 hour away from Cambridge, so we would leave around 10:00 am and be back around 13:00
- Closed shoes and long pants would be required for the visit. Work boots are ideal, sneakers are allowed. No shorts.
