The Sloan Prison Education Initiative will exist to improve access to education and employment for incarcerated populations in the state of Massachusetts by providing introductory business classes including entrepreneurship, leadership, and business math led by Sloan students.
a. Leadership experience working with peers, justice-impacted individuals, and community stakeholders b. Deeper understanding of entrepreneurship and associated business skills c. Professional connections in the Greater Boston area and beyond d. Unique social and emotional skill development working in carceral institutions with incarcerated populations
