When: Kickoff at 8.30am on Friday, August 10th
Where: New York City - Midtown (7th and 50th)
Why: Network with industry professionals to learn about the finance industry and endless career opportunities.
Details: MFin NY Finance Day is open to all MFin students. Registration is required as well as attendance at the MFin Career Core Prep Session on Monday, August 6 from 1-2:30pm and a final resume by 11:59pm on August 6th.
Bus transportation will be provided. Buses will depart MIT Sloan on Thursday at 3:30pm sharp in front of E62 and depart NY on Friday at 5:35pm. Students should arrive for check-in no later than 3:10pm on Thursday. Students may stay in NY for the weekend, however, you will need to arrange and provide your transportation back. There are two registration options below, one for a round trip bus ride and one for a one way bus ride to NY. Please make sure to select the option that you will attend.
Students are responsible for arranging and providing hotel accommodations on Thursday, August 9th in NYC.
A continental breakfast will be provided at Barclays.
MFin NY Finance Day is formal business attire (suits). Security requires a government issued photo id (i.e. license, passport) on the day of event.
Deposit: A $100 deposit is due upon registration.
Upholding Sloan Values is extremely important as we are guests of Barclays. Compliance of Sloan Values (i.e. arriving on time, remaining engaged, and proper dress) will result in a full refund.
