Degree Application

Please submit your Commencement RSVP by visiting degreeapp.mit.edu as soon as possible. Note that the Registrar's Office will contact those on the degree list who are not cleared to graduate after the degree candidates meeting.

Invitation Letters

If you (Feb 2023 students) or your family members need a visa to enter the US to attend the graduation ceremonies, you can request an invitation letter directly in iMIT.

Regalia

Regalia is required to participate in the MIT and MFin Graduation Ceremony events.

Digital MIT Diploma

MIT graduates have the option to receive a digital version of their diploma at no cost in addition to their physical diploma.

Physical MIT Diploma

You are responsible for indicating how you would like to receive your diploma and ensuring that your mailing information is accurate. Please visit degreeapp.mit.edu to review your diploma name and indicate whether you are picking up your physical diploma in person during Commencement in June or to review your mailing address if you are not attending.

Technology Off-boarding

Your access to MIT's licenses, such as Microsoft 365, will be terminated the day after you graduate. Be sure to download and transfer your data to your personal cloud storage.

Your Kerberos account will be deactivated in January 2024 and you will lose access to your MIT email, Zoom, Adobe Cloud Service, OneDrive, and all other Touchstone-authenticated Institute services and related data.
