
A $35,000 tuition scholarship awarded to five rising 2nd year MBA students by the Siebel Foundation based on recognition of outstanding academic performance in the first year and demonstrated commitment to community. The Siebel Scholars Program was established in 2000 to recognize talented students at the world's leading graduate schools of business, computer science, biotechnology, and energy services.

The MBA Program Office will email invitations to eligible rising second year MBA students to apply for this award in early June, after all grades for Spring semester have been received.

2nd year tuition scholarship (amount based on 2024-2025 MBA tuition rates) given to one rising 2nd year MBA based on outstanding academic performance, significant community contributions and demonstrated financial need. The McGowan Fellows Program was created in 2010 to support the development of exceptional corporate, social and political leadership in the world. Fellows attend the annual McGowan Symposium in November to participate in a case study and work on a year-long social impact project with McGowan Fellows from nine other MBA partner schools.

Honoring individuals and teams in the graduating MBA Class who have made a significant and positive impact on the MIT Sloan community. These five awards are endowed by generous donations from MIT Sloan alumni. Recipients are selected through a nomination process. Prizes range from $1,000 - $10,000.
Nominations for the MBA Achievement Awards will open in the Spring.

A $5,000 award funded by the 42 Analytics Fund and given to one rising 2nd year MBA student. The award recognizes an outstanding rising 2nd year student interested in pursuing a career, in order of preference, in the professional sports industry or media relations.
Eligibility:
The 2025 application has closed. The 2026 application will be announced in June.

Established by John C Head, SB '70, this prize is given to the highest-achieving MBA student in finance as determined by the finance faculty. Recipients are selected at the beginning of their second year. Eligible students will have demonstrated academic excellence in courses offered by the Finance Group. There is no nomination or application process for this prize.
MIT Sloan Culture and Community Awards
These awards recognize students who have actively contributed to strengthening the MIT Sloan community—embodying the spirit of Sloanies helping Sloanies. These awards offer an opportunity to define and celebrate what community means to us. We believe that great ideas and talent can come from anyone, and our goal is to foster a welcoming environment where individuals from all backgrounds can grow, thrive, and truly feel a sense of belonging.
Both undergraduate and graduate students who have demonstrated—or aspire to demonstrate—a commitment to strengthening the MIT Sloan culture and community are eligible for nomination.
