MBAn 2024 New York City Data Science Trek

YOU ARE INVITED! We are pleased to invite the Master of Business Analytics Class of 2024 to New York City for two intensive days of networking, professional development and learning about the data science industry in the Big Apple! The current planned itinerary is as follows:

Wed Mar 20th, 2024

• 8am - Buses departs from MIT Sloan, arrives in New York around 12pm
• 12:30-1:30pm – Arrive at Hotel, lunch provided, If your room is not ready, you can store your luggage with the hotel lobby
• 2pm-5pm – Small Group Meetings with Companies in hotel meeting rooms
• 5:30-8pm – MIT-sponsored Analytics Networking Reception (same location as hotel)

Thu, Mar 21st, 2024

• 8am-9am – Breakfast available
• 9am-12pm – Small Group Meetings with Companies in hotel meeting space, lunch provided
• 12pm-4pm – Company On-site Visits in New York City
• After 5pm – Enjoy NYC

• 9am – Bus departs from Hotel, arrives back at MIT Sloan around 1pm
• Breakfast and lunch on your own
• 12pm – Latest Hotel check-out. You can store your luggage with the hotel lobby

Please RSVP to the New York Trek by Monday, Feb 19th by 5pm EST to secure your room and confirm your attendance. Room assignments are at the discretion of the MBAn Class Leadership Council. Please note that any extra hotel expenses from the minibar, cable TV purchases or damage in the hotel rooms will be at your own expense.

What Should I Wear?

Please dress business casual for the Networking Dinner and all company meetings. Please NO shorts, short skirts, hats, heavy perfume / cologne, open-toed shoes, flip flops, ripped jeans, heavy jewelry or makeup. You are representing MIT!
