Please join us for lunch on Wednesday, April 26 from 12-1pm in E51-395 for our very first guest of the Business Analytics Speaker Series: John foreman. John is an Operations Research Center alumnus and formerly Chief Data Scientist of the email marketing startup MailChimp. John is the author of the book Data Smart: Using Data Science to Transform Information Into Insight, published by Wiley.

As MailChimp’s current VP of Product Management, John watches over MailChimp’s roadmap. He works with research, design, and development to explore ideas, prioritize them, and bring them into the world. Before coming to MailChimp, Foreman completed his graduate studies at MIT and worked on enterprise data modeling projects for the NSA, IRS, DoD, Coca-Cola, Intercontinental Hotels Group, and Royal Caribbean International. He lives in Avondale Estates, Georgia, with his wife and sons.
