Do you want to learn about careers in the Asset Management industry?
Do you want to learn how to research a stock and construct a stock pitch?
Would you like coaching for entry into stock pitch competitions?
Are you interested in mock interviews and resume / cover letter advice targeted toward asset management interviews?
If so, come to our workshops. This program is open to female MBA and MFin students interested in careers in asset management.
To sign up, please do the following:
· Complete the survey HERE by Monday, October 5th at 5:00pm
· In the survey, please upload a one-page statement detailing why they want to enter the asset management industry.
The program consists of two sessions and mock interviews and there is no cost to participate. Attendance at both sessions is required as the second will build on the first.
MWiAM (More Women in Asset Management) and Forté Foundation offer a program at select top tier MBA campuses for female MBA students who are interested in a career in asset management. Sessions are run by experienced investment professionals.
The offering consists of 2 sessions, Mock Interviews, and Coaching:
Session I: Careers in Asset Management (roles, companies, – Finding and Researching Investment Ideas – Company and Industry Analysis – Financial Statement Analysis
Session II: Creating and Presenting the Investment Recommendation – Cover letters and Resumes – Interview Tips
Attendance at both sessions is suggested, as the second will build on the first.
Mock Interviews [optional]: Investment professionals moderate mock interviews conducted in small groups
Mentoring/coaching for stock pitch competitions: Upon request, students may be paired with an investment professional to practice stock pitches ahead of competitions or interviews
