Overview of the session:
Flare Capital is a healthcare services and digital health VC firm located in Boston that aims to reinvent the business of healthcare through investments in healthcare technology. Founding partners, as well as other members of the Flare Capital team will be in attendance. They plan to give an overview of their fund strategy, information about the Flare Capital Scholars Program, and leave plenty of time for questions and/or discussion about careers in healthcare VC.
Flare Scholars Program: Flare Capital Partners offers a unique opportunity for interested candidates to gain exposure to venture capital and healthcare technology through its Flare Capital Scholars Program. While engaged in a fulltime job or academic program, Flare Capital Scholars supplement their professional development through structured interactions with the Flare Capital investment team. The overarching goal of our Scholars program is to build a community of promising young executives who are passionate about the transformation of healthcare through technology. Scholars will engage with the Flare Capital investment team to increase familiarity with various aspects of the venture capital world. These include, but are not limited to, understanding the fundamentals of deal sourcing, participating in due diligence on investment opportunities, and supporting new and existing portfolio companies.
