MIT Sloan Scramble

We are delighted to be hosting the annual MIT Sloan Scramble this year at Brookline // Robert T. Lynch Municipal Golf Course on May 2. We will tee off at 9 am!

The round includes:
- A continental breakfast will be served, beginning around 8 am
- Range balls will be provided prior to the round, Brookline has a full range
- Round includes a golf cart
- Lunch post-scramble for each participant

The method of play will be scramble, which is the following:
- Tee Off: Each golfer hits their own ball from the tee box.
- Best Ball Selection: After the tee shots, the team evaluates the landing positions of all the balls. They choose the best shot (usually the one closest to the hole or in the most favorable position).
- Next Shots: All team members play their next shots from the location of the chosen ball
- Repeat: This process continues for each subsequent shot until the ball reaches the hole. Teams must putt the ball into the hole to complete the hole. No "gimme" putts.
- Scoring: Only one ball’s score counts per hole for the entire team. The team with the lowest total score for the round wins the scramble tournament
