The MIT Integrated Design and Management (IDM) program will be hosting a talk with Tri Tran, Co-founder and former CEO of Munchery, MIT Alum, and Startup Advisor. They have opened up 10 slots exclusively for E&I club members and lunch will be provided.

More about Tri and Munchery:
Born in Vietnam, Tri Tran escaped the country by boat when he was 11 years old with his older brother and grandmother. After receiving his Masters and Bachelors degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he reunited with his parents after 11 years being apart.

In 2011, Tri co-founded Munchery, an on-demand meal delivery service that delivers a variety of nourishing, affordable, chef-cooked meals right to your door. A former software engineer and father of two, Tri came up with the idea for Munchery after struggling to find the time to cook healthy food for his family while balancing a busy work schedule.

Munchery launched in San Francisco and now operates in San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Portland, New York, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. Its food is also shipped across all 9 states in the West coast. The company donates a meal to local food banks for every order placed.

Nowadays, Tri consults and advises other entrepreneurs and companies on their aspiring business journeys, and spends his free time with his wife and kids.
