Corality Project Finance Training Series

The Sloan Energy Club is inviting Corality, a professional training agency, to host a 1.5-day training focused on project finance fundamentals and modeling techniques. Corality provides project finance training programs for a wide range of developers, energy companies and financial institutions. They are well recognized as the best in the industry. This 1.5-day course is highly subsidized by the Sloan Energy Club with sponsorship from CDO and Sustainability Initiative, and we are only charging $50 per student to cover the costs of basic materials. We encourage everyone who's interested in pursuing a career in the energy sector to participate.

Purpose:
At Sloan, Course 15.498 "Project Finance was last offered Fall 2017, and there is no existing curriculum that covers this core topic. And project finance is not covered by any WallStreet Prep module either. Therefore, we have decided to design, plan and host this training series in partnership with Corality for students who are seeking jobs in the energy sector.

Preliminary Course Modules:
• Module one – project finance structures and considerations (contextualizing)
• Module two – best practice modeling, model life-cycle, model structure
• Module three – develop flexible timing and critical shortcuts
• Module four – construction and funding requirements
• Module five – cashflow waterfall
• Module six – debt repayments and project finance metrics
• Module seven – returns and dividend policy
• Module eight – sensitivities and scenarios
