MIT Professor Bill Bonvillian will join us to talk about the current and future state of manufacturing in the US. He will also discuss policies that can lead to a healthy US manufacturing sector. In his recent book, Advanced Manufacturing: The New American Innovation Policies, Professor Bonvillian argues that promoting newest technologies such as 3D printing and robotics is crucial to saving US manufacturing.

Please see the below PDF attachment that features several chapters from Professor Bonvillian's book.

We will be serving lunch (pizza and refreshments) at 11:40am and the discussion will commence at 12pm.
