Enjoy an evening of storytelling from five of your fellow Sloanies in collaboration with AAA (Asian American Alliance). Dinner provided and served at 7 PM.
Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) heritage month is celebrated during the month of May. It’s a time to reflect on the rich heritage and resilience of AAPI voices and the importance of inclusion and solidarity. We’re excited to partner with The Yarn as part of this celebration to feature stories from members of our community who identify as AAPI.
The Yarn is dedicated to empowerment through the art of storytelling, creating a platform within the MIT Sloan community where voices can be heard, diverse experiences shared, and true selves revealed. We commit to fostering an environment of openness, authenticity, and courage, allowing our speakers to connect deeply with an inclusive audience beyond conventional classroom and professional interactions. Our mission is to transform personal narratives into powerful tools for connection, understanding, growth, and community.
