You're invited to join Dr. Kyle Keane from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering for a Mathematica tutorial seminar next Friday, January 19 from 10:30am-12:00pm in 4-153. This session is great for both beginners wanting to learn the basics and experienced users ready to explore new advanced features of Mathematica and the Wolfram Language.

During the session, you'll learn about basic coding syntax, symbolic and numeric mathematics, machine learning, data analysis, audio and image processing, web deployments, and more. Dr. Keane will also provide information about the coding initiatives at MIT to bring computation into the freshmen year, as well as tools for bringing coding into MITx classes.

No previous experience with Mathematica is required. Be sure to bring a laptop with Mathematica installed and come ready to learn.
